Hello my name is Jeff Gagnon, the founder of KMG Mechanical located in Rochester, NH. I was born and raised here in New Hampshire where I began my career as an HVAC technician in 1999 with a local HVAC company. In 2000 I proudly joined the United States Army as a military policeman. I served our great nation for just over a decade, deploying several times in support of various operations throughout the world. After ending my military career in 2010, I returned to my roots in HVAC for several more years. In 2016 I decided to step away from the HVAC community to pursue law enforcement both with the city of Rochester and the Strafford County Sheriff's Office. In 2020 I decided to leave my law enforcement career behind, and follow my passion to build a long lasting and successful career in HVAC.

The name KMG Mechanical carries a meaning that goes far beyond business. KMG are the initials of my baby sister, Katie Mae Gagnon, who passed away at just six months old. Although our time together was short, her presence has stayed with me through every chapter of my life. Through the successes and the challenges, I have always felt she was there, quietly guiding me forward. Naming this company after her was not just a decision. It was a promise to build something meaningful, something strong, and something built with heart.
KMG Mechanical represents more than a company. It represents family, resilience, and the belief that every step forward matters. While Katie may be my silent business partner, her spirit is part of everything this company stands for.
